All4AvaGrace Scholarship Winners

  • Alyssa Saner

    • Alyssa is a graduate of Campbell County High School class of 2023, and varsity cheer alumni. She enjoys being with her friends and family in her free time. When she isn't doing that she loves her job being an STNA at Coldspring Transitional Care Center. She will be attending NKU in the fall of 2023 to pursue her dream of earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy to help others the way they've helped her.

  • Kyla Auton

    • Kyla is a graduate of Scott High School and resides in Independence, KY, with her parents and younger sister. Kyla has been on a cheer team most of her life and wrapped up that chapter with high school graduation. In high school, she served four years on the student council, two years on the student advisory council, and two years on the Kenton County School District Community Based Accountability Model. In her junior year, she was accepted into the Young Scholars Academy and attended all classes at NKU earning college credits. For her senior year, Kyla was in the School-Based Scholars program and attended classes at the campuses of Scott High School, NKU, and Gateway Community College. During her senior year, Kyla obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant license. With 50 college credits, she will attend EKU with plans to major in nursing.

    • During high school, Kyla actively participated in Young Life, but it is the Northern Kentucky Capernaum program that holds her heart. Volunteering at the summer camps, day camps, organizing events, and engaging with these intellectually and physically challenged teens and young adults on a personal level has enriched my life more than she can say. Both Kyla's grandfathers are Vietnam veterans, and in their honor, she is a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and an advocate for the benefits our nation's veterans have earned. Receiving the All4AvaGrace scholarship was an honor for Kyla, and she will do her best to honor Ava's memory.
